I painted this starling about a year ago and it was featured in an article about these birds on the blog, Ms. Jeannie Ology today. I love these birds. They have the most amazing pattern in their feathers and make surreal shapes in the sky while they are migrating. It's bizarre and beautiful. Thanks, Ms. Jeannie!

Finally, some new items for Etsy
I have been pretty slow to get my Etsy shop going, but I'm slowly but surely getting there. These are a couple of hand painted sketchbooks I've made recently. The loon bird stems from an old sketch and the potted plant was painted from a beautiful one I own. You should get one, a Philodendron, they keep the air in your house nice and clean! I will soon be screenprinting these guys so check back frequently for new designs, archival prints of my paintings and tote bags.

Great photography by Helen Levi
I found this photographer, Helen Levi on Etsy. She did a series of photos at Mike Tyson's repossessed house. I love this one of the pool room.
